  2. Xilinx ZCU102 / ZCU104 / ZCU106 boards - ZynqMP SoC
  3. ***************************************************
  4. This document describes the Buildroot support for the ZCU102, ZCU104
  5. and ZCU106 boards by Xilinx, based on the Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC (aka
  6. ZynqMP). It has been tested with the ZCU102 and ZCU106 production
  7. boards.
  8. Evaluation board features can be found here with the links below.

  15. How to build it
  16. ===============
  17. Configure Buildroot: (use the command for the specific board)
  18. $ make zynqmp_zcu102_defconfig
  19. $ make zynqmp_zcu104_defconfig
  20. $ make zynqmp_zcu106_defconfig
  21. Compile everything and build the rootfs image:
  22. $ make
  23. Result of the build
  24. -------------------
  25. After building, you should get a tree like this:
  26. output/images/
  27. +-- atf-uboot.ub
  28. +-- bl31.bin
  29. +-- boot.bin
  30. +-- boot.vfat
  31. +-- Image
  32. +-- rootfs.ext2
  33. +-- rootfs.ext4 -> rootfs.ext2
  34. +-- sdcard.img
  35. +-- system.dtb -> zynqmp-zcu106-revA.dtb
  36. +-- u-boot.itb
  37. `-- zynqmp-zcu106-revA.dtb
  38. How to write the SD card
  39. ========================
  40. WARNING! This will destroy all the card content. Use with care!
  41. The sdcard.img file is a complete bootable image ready to be written
  42. on the boot medium. To install it, simply copy the image to an SD
  43. card:
  44. # dd if=output/images/sdcard.img of=/dev/sdX
  45. Where 'sdX' is the device node of the SD.
  46. Eject the SD card, insert it in the board, and power it up.
