  7. Name
  8. ====
  9. FE_SET_FRONTEND_TUNE_MODE - Allow setting tuner mode flags to the frontend.
  10. Synopsis
  11. ========
  12. .. c:macro:: FE_SET_FRONTEND_TUNE_MODE
  13. ``int ioctl(int fd, FE_SET_FRONTEND_TUNE_MODE, unsigned int flags)``
  14. Arguments
  15. =========
  16. ``fd``
  17. File descriptor returned by :c:func:`open()`.
  18. ``flags``
  19. Valid flags:
  20. - 0 - normal tune mode
  21. - ``FE_TUNE_MODE_ONESHOT`` - When set, this flag will disable any
  22. zigzagging or other "normal" tuning behaviour. Additionally,
  23. there will be no automatic monitoring of the lock status, and
  24. hence no frontend events will be generated. If a frontend device
  25. is closed, this flag will be automatically turned off when the
  26. device is reopened read-write.
  27. Description
  28. ===========
  29. Allow setting tuner mode flags to the frontend, between 0 (normal) or
  30. ``FE_TUNE_MODE_ONESHOT`` mode
  31. Return Value
  32. ============
  33. On success 0 is returned.
  34. On error -1 is returned, and the ``errno`` variable is set
  35. appropriately.
  36. Generic error codes are described at the
  37. :ref:`Generic Error Codes <gen-errors>` chapter.
